Director of Development
The “new” historic Granada seeks a highly accomplished individual for the planning, implementation, and management of fundraising programs designed to attract private support from individuals, corporations, and foundations to meet priority needs of the theatre. The experienced Development Director will help complete the final phase of the capital campaign and then build on its success for operations.

The Granada’s programs and services along with the Marketing Director and Development Associate.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated management expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, exemplary planning abilities, technical and donor tracking knowledge with proven relationship building abilities.
This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Executive Director. Minimum five years experience as a professional fundraiser with a successful track record in individual, major giving, annual giving and grant support for nonprofit organizations required. Planned giving experience an important plus.

Box Office Manager
The historic, 1924 Granada in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara will be a newly restored 1,550 seat Performing Arts Center opening March 2008 featuring symphony, opera, ballet, Broadway and more. This is an opportunity for an experienced Box Office Manager to create box office policies and processes from the ground up.
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic person who possesses excellent multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. He or she should enjoy a fast-paced environment, understand customer service, and possess a passion for the arts. More than usual patience and flexibility will be neede
as we ramp-up to full speed.
The ideal candidate will have Box Office experience at a management or supervisory level with experience training and managing a sales team. Must be a problem-solver and have a minimum of three-years experience in managing a computerized, full-service ticket office operation. Working knowledge of TESSITURA computerized ticketing system a significant plus.
This is a year-round, permanent position with benefits. The successful candidate will report to The Granada’s Executive Director.
