The Santa Barbara Center for the Performing Arts (SBCPA), dba The Granada Theatre, is committed to protecting your privacy. It is our intent to balance our business interests with your expectations of privacy. This policy explains how we protect your personal information and how it is used.

The Information We Collect and How We Use It

We are required to collect certain information on our website when you order tickets or make a contribution, but we also request additional information so that we can tailor the online experience to your likes and dislikes. You have the option of indicating your interest preferences (classical music, dance, etc.) and we use that information to suggest performances you may be interested in and to mail you relevant information. You may choose not to submit this information. You may also tailor your email and mail preferences to identify how you would like us to communicate with you.

When purchasing tickets or making a contribution, you will be asked for your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. This information is encrypted in our database (see Security section below). We also collect your personal information such as your name and address which is required to make a ticket purchase or a contribution.

The SBCPA utilizes the information you provide (including your ticket buying history) to promote our own activities, and you have the right to opt out of any or all of these forms of communication at any time.

Information Shared With Third Parties

The SBCPA does not sell or rent names, postal addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. Organizations that sell tickets through the SBCPA and The Granada Theatre Box Office do receive this information about their ticket buyers upon request. The SBCPA is not responsible for any actions or offers sent by these organizations, but our partner not-for-profits do adhere to similar policies. We will not forward any information to them if patron permission has been denied.

The SBCPA never shares donor lists.

Security of Your Information

When you purchase tickets or make a contribution to the SBCPA we collect your credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Your credit card number and expiration date are encrypted in our database (using SSL technology for online transactions), and we never store the CVV code. Your credit card data is masked in our system (456X-XXXX-XXXX-1234) and the full number is never viewable by any personnel.

Information is stored under physical, electronic, or procedural controls under standards established by the credit card industry. We participate in a security program which requires us to meet specific security measures to protect your credit card information. The software that we use is compliant with these regulations. These security measures are put in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of your account information.

Correcting or Updating Personal Information

If your personal information changes, such as your address, phone number or email address, we will gladly correct, update, or remove any data you have previously provided to us. You may change your personal information at any time by updating your account on our website or sending an email to boxoffice@granadasb.org.

Opt In

The SBCPA sends emails and brochures about upcoming events. At any time you can tell us what publications you want to receive by updating your account on our web site or unsubscribing from an email. The SBCPA complies with anti-spam regulations and we only want to send you information that you want.
